1. ❌ Unclear User Journey

You aren’t showing the user of your website what you want them to do/achieve when they land on your website.

Know what this is and make the path clear.

Less time navigating their goal = more conversions. Period.

*Make sure you lead the user from your home page or sales page with easy to follow instructions and buttons to get them there!

2. ❌ Not Enough Calls to Actions

Sure, you can have too many call to action buttons IF they are ALL OVER EVERY PAGE!

The goal is to have the calls to actions lead the journey and direct them to make clear actions.

*Don’t be afraid to use them & make sure you end your page design with a call to action for next steps in their journey!

3. ❌ Poor Mobile Design

Having fonts stacking into each other or distorted images on mobile devices will be the ☠️ of your website.

Over 50% of users are on mobile devices so stop sleeping on this!!

Your mobile design should be as similar to your desktop as possible, but can have it’s own layout that makes sense for the size. A poor mobile experience is just not it.

*You want your mobile experience to leave your users with a positive feeling!

4. ❌ No SEO Descriptions

No page SEO makes it hard to rank on Google or for people to find your product/service.

End of story.

*Make sure all of your pages have appropriate titles and page descriptions to get found for your location and service.

5. ❌ Broken Links

Old blog posts, deleted web pages, and links from other sources are taking your website down a notch if they aren’t re-directed.

*Old pages and links need to be re-directed and re-crawled on Google.
